Maple and Brown Sugar Pudding...

If you could put a little of your mama's comfort in a bowl and warm it up on a winter's night,
you'd have yourself a bowl of this cozy pudding.

"As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem. "
~Isaiah 66:13

Ingredients:

4 cups milk
6 T. corn starch
6 T. maple syrup
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 t. salt
2 t. vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients, minus the vanilla, into a saucepan. Stir well to eliminate lumps. Heat to boiling over medium heat about 7 minutes. Boil for one minute stirring constantly. Turn off heat, stir in vanilla. Spoon into individual serving dishes. Serve warm or cold. (garnish with whip cream and cinnamon, optional.)
